In this video I’m showing you how to make Semel Cake. It is also keto friendly.
These are perfect for the coffee snack or dessert. It is a Swedish tradition that is eaten on the Fat Tuesday. This year that is on the 1st of March.

Ingredients:
Cake:
180g Sweetener
115g Butter, melted
100g Almond Mass, sugar free, grated
75g Almond Flour
35g Coconut Flour
2 Eggs
1.5 tsp Cardamom
1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
¼ tsp Salt
Frosting:
100g Heavy Cream
Garnish:
10g Almond Flan
In a bowl add all cake ingredients and mix until combined with a spatula
Add to an oven pan with parchment paper
Bake in the oven on 175°C|350°F for 25 min and let cool off after
Add the almond flans to an oven pan with parchment paper
Bake in the oven on 175°C|350°F for 10 min and let cool off after
In a bowl add the heavy cream and mix until soft peaks with an electric mixer
Put into a piping bag
Cut the cake into pieces
Pip on the heavy cream
Sprinkle over the almond flans
