Keto Semel Cake

Hey!

In this video I’m showing you how to make Semel Cake.  It is also keto friendly.

These are perfect for the coffee snack or dessert. It is a Swedish tradition that is eaten on the Fat Tuesday. This year that is on the 1st of March.

Makes around 12 servings

Nutrition per serving:

Calories: 190

Carbs: 2.7g (1g net)

Protein: 4.5g

Fat: 18.2g

 

Ingredients:

Cake:

180g Sweetener

115g Butter, melted

100g Almond Mass, sugar free, grated

75g Almond Flour

35g Coconut Flour

2 Eggs

1.5 tsp Cardamom

1.5 tsp Vanilla Extract

¼ tsp Salt

 

Frosting:

100g Heavy Cream

 

Garnish:

10g Almond Flan

 

⭐️ In a bowl add all cake ingredients and mix until combined with a spatula

 

⭐️ Add to an oven pan with parchment paper

 

⭐️ Bake in the oven on 175°C|350°F for 25 min and let cool off after

 

⭐️ Add the almond flans to an oven pan with parchment paper

 

⭐️ Bake in the oven on 175°C|350°F for 10 min and let cool off after

 

⭐️ In a bowl add the heavy cream and mix until soft peaks with an electric mixer

 

⭐️ Put into a piping bag

 

⭐️Cut the cake into pieces

 

⭐️ Pip on the heavy cream

 

⭐️Sprinkle over the almond flans

 

⭐️ Enjoy!
