Ingredients:
Cake:
150g Dates
½ tsp Baking Soda
125g Water
80g Sweetener
30g Greek Yogurt
1 Egg
75g Almond Flour
35g Coconut Flour
½ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Salt
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
Sauce:
50g Brown Sweetener
30g Butter
15g Syrup, sugar free
75g Heavy Cream
Start with cake. In a bowl add dates and baking soda. Mix until the dates are covered
Pour in the water and make sure the dates are covered
Let rest for 30 min
In another bowl add sweetener and greek yogurt and mix until combined
Add the egg and continue mixing until combined
Set aside
In another bowl add almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder and salt and mix until combined
Add in the egg mix, date mix and vanilla extract and mix until combined
Pour into an oven pan covered in parchment paper
Bake in the oven on 170°C|340°F for 30 min and let cool off after
While the cake is baking make the sauce. In a pot add brown sweetener, butter and syrup
Put on medium heat and bring the mix to a boil. Let boil for 5 min and stir now and then
Take the pot of the heat and add the heavy cream. Mix until combined
Cut the cake into pieces
Pour the sauce over and serve
