Mud Cake

In this video I’m showing you how to make mud cake.

This is one of my dad’s favorites. I used to make it a lot when I was living at home. It’s so sweet and so good and very easy to make.

Makes around 16 servings

Nutrition per serving (without garnish):

Calories: 290

Carbs: 38.9

Ingredients:

Cake:

4 Eggs

450g Sugar

180g Flour

6 tbsp Cocoa Powder

4 tsp Vanilla Sugar

1 pinch Salt

200g Butter

1 tbsp Butter

1 tbsp Flour

 

Garnish:

Whipped Cream

Raspberries

Icing Sugar

 

⭐️ Add Eggs and Sugar to a bowl and mix 

 

⭐️ In another bowl add the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, salt and mix

 

⭐️ Sift into the egg mix

 

⭐️ Add the butter and mix

 

⭐️ Add the tbsp of butter to the oven pan and spread around using a paper towel

 

⭐️ Add the tbsp of flour to the oven pan and spread it around covering the butter

 

⭐️ Pour in the batter and spread out evenly

 

⭐️ Bake in the oven on 200°C |390°F for around 30 min

 

⭐️ Let cool off and cut into pieces

 

⭐️Pipe on whipped cream

 

⭐️ Add raspberries

 

⭐️ Sprinkle over icing sugar
